Dead Relic

Vile plague winds
Desecrated ground
Blood before me
Warrior renowned
Battles fought,
over choices made,
not my ambition,
at the tip of my blade.
The king may guide us
But won’t stand beside us
A saga became
of a coward I’d slain.
Cowards that lurk
In shadowed contempt
whose word undenied
a kingdom’s descent
The screams and cries
throughout this great hall
Resonate from a king
Who meant nothing at all
Born anew,
Amidst dust and smoke
A leader within
My spirit awoke
Unyielding tempest
power and blight
Respected and feared,
and purest of sight
Transcendent keeper
Defiler and reaper
The plague winds blow again

Invasion
05:38
|
|

Flames erupt.
Smoke casts a shadow,
a masquerade for terror and bloodshed.
We inhale
Sigils woven,
flown drenched on spikes.
Fabric sewn
from garbs of the deceased.
Impaled
Dismantle primitive ideals.
A distorted image of perfection,
dirtied and callous,
unrecognised.
A crimson tide ashore,
back into the sea.
A slate wiped clean
before the new moon.

Heretic
05:34
|
|||
A god had awoken
after centuries of sleep.
A slumber disrupted
by the cries of his sheep.
His flock, now outnumbered,
have fallen to their knees.
The prophet on a crucifix.
Disciples of disease.
Heed all of their cries,
an ear for despair.
Granting not their wishes,
professing that I care.
Come unto me,
and I will give you rest.
A lifetime of struggles,
stumble to your death.
Faith in the hammer,
pounding down the nails.
Bleeding from his limbs,
the progeny who failed.
Power delivered through thunder
A presence always known.
A heretic crawling from under
bear witness an empty throne.
Heed all of their cries,
an ear for despair.
Granting not their wishes,
professing that I care.
Come unto me,
and I will give you rest.
A lifetime of struggles,
stumble to your death.
Slay the heretic.
Faith in the hammer,
pounding down the nails.
Bleeding from his limbs,
the progeny who failed.
Power delivered through thunder
A presence always known.
A heretic crawling from under
bear witness an empty throne.
He, who defies
the love that's held within,
suffers when he dies,
and pays for all his sins.
He, who denies
the love that's held within,
repent before you die

Coil
05:12
|
|||
Anger,
hatred
overwhelms me.
Weak spirits linger,
and surround me.
Unsatisfied
by a lack of loyalty,
the fire dies
as winds blow stagnant,
but embers
cinder
forevermore.
Twisting like a serpent,
a coil of my lament.
The smoke will rise
as my spirit falls.
Choking for air,
I’ll stay low to the ground.
In the absence of life,
dead passion found.
Rain won’t wash away my despair.
A tsunami of tears won’t replenish my love.
The seasons change and so does the heart.
Burns won’t heal, but the search does go on.
There is no perfection.
Two lost souls discontent

The Lone Night
04:38
|
|
||
Lifeless wake of ruin.
Heart ache still brewing.
Awaiting the moon’s arrival.
These eyes may shut forever.
Present us with the lone night.
A journey across the globe,
to discover land and sea.
Only to find that the knowledge I seek,
was buried deep within me.
The flesh burns cold,
as the wind dies.
The tides turn still,
as the gods cry.
Stuck in time, the ice
preserves our longing for
the lone nights.
Sturdy walls start bleeding.
The ground begins to crumble.
Reveal what lies beneath,
as decay starts breeding.
Lifeless wake of ruin.
Heart ache still brewing.
Awaiting the moon’s arrival.
These eyes may shut forever.
Present us with the lone night.
These vessels carried
the life force within me.
These hollow halls now echo
the voices
of those who’ve left me.
The flesh burns cold,
as the wind dies.
The tides turn still,
as the gods cry.
Stuck in time, the ice
preserves our longing for
the lone nights
Sturdy walls start bleeding.
The ground begins to crumble.
Reveal what lies beneath,
as decay starts breeding.
The sails are up,
but the wind no longer blows.
The gods look down
upon the men of ill will.
